Connecticut Awarensss/Fundraiser Campaign

We are making strides in Sarcoma Research thanks to our grass root efforts. Connecticut will be planning another awareness/fundraiser campaign scheduled for September 2009. I hope I can count on you for ideas, assistance and getting out the word. Last year our state did a "Hike for the Cure" located in Fairfield County. We were very successful and raised nearly $20,000. In addition, we received great publicity, TV and News.

We are not bound be geographic's, nor are we bound by Hike's. We are however bound by resource allocation. As you know, resources are limited at the state and federal level for Sarcoma research. Without resources our researchers have their hands bound and tied. In the meanwhile, people perish. That is not acceptable and is unthinkable.

I have some ideas for an awarenss/fundraiser campaign but I am sure you have others:

  • Bowl for the Cure
  • Golf for the Cure
  • Walk for the Cure

We can shoot for the stars and dream big.

Please let me know if you would like to participate in this campaign.

Together we are better. Together we can make a difference.
